Canoe Paddles
Canoe paddles are used by a human to power a canoe. There are different paddles available for different types of paddling. But each type of paddle has one specific characteristic in common, they are each a blade that is attached to a shaft.
Canoe paddles are usually made of wood or a light material. Paddles will often be made of fiberglass, aluminum, or plastic. These materials all create a light paddle, and light weight paddles are best for use with a canoe.
Canoe paddles can be purchased online and in local stores. Some local stores may be canoeing specialty shops. At these shops they will often help with choosing the appropriate paddle or set of paddles for each customer.
